Peran Masa Kerja dan Insentif Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan dengan Motivasi Kerja sebagai Variabel Intervening

This research aims to determine the effect of length of service and incentives on employee performance with work motivation as an intervening variable at PT. PLN (Persero) UP2D West Sumatra. Employee performance at PT. PLN (Persero) UP2D West Sumatra is not yet optimal, as indicated by employees with new terms of service who lack mastery in a field of work, the placement of employee duties and positions is not in accordance with the length of their work period.In contrast, providing insufficient incentives makes employees less enthusiastic about working, lack of organizational support such as providing encouragement to employees so that they feel motivated and their performance increases, there is a lack of public recognition for performance so that employees are not motivated to be able to do their best in the future. This research is quantitative research. The population and sample of this research are all employees totaling 73 respondents with a sampling technique using the Non Probability Sampling method, namely a saturated sample. The data analysis method uses descriptive analysis with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the SmartPLS 3.0 tool. The data used in this research is primary data, namely by means of interviews and distributing questionnaires. The research results found that working period and incentives partially have a significant effect on work motivation. Work period, incentives and work motivation partially have a significant effect on employee performance. Work motivation partially mediates working period and incentives on employee performance.
